Nominados al Oscar 2023
En punto de las 8:30 a.m. (Tiempo del Este), los actores Allison Williams y Riz Ahmed anunciaron vía transmisión en vivo a los nominados para las 23 categorías premiadas por la Academia.
Durante los últimos par de años, los Oscar habían apostado casi completamente por películas independientes para las categorías más prestigiosas, sin embargo este podemos ver una lista bastante ecléctica que no se había visto desde entregas como la de 2012, donde se reúnen pequeños dramas con inmensas producciones que batieron récords en taquilla.
Entre la lista podemos ver ya muy esperados como Elvis (2022. Dir. Baz Luhrman), Tár (2022. Dir. Todd Field), Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio (2022. Dir. Guillermo del Toro, Mark Gustafson) y The Fableman (2022. Dir. Steven Spielberg).
Pero también hubo sorpresas, como las pocas nominaciones de Bardo (2022. Dir. Alejandro G. Iñárritu) The Whale (2022. Dir. Darren Aronofsky), Babylon (2022. Dir. Damien Chazelle), The Batman (2022. Dir. Matt Reeves) y la no muy esperada aparición de Avatar: The Way of the Water (2022. Dir. James Cameron) dentro de Mejor Película.
Para regocijo de la mayoría y sorpresa de nadie, Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022. Dir. The Daniels) fue la gran ganadora con 11 nominaciones incluidas Mejor Película, Mejor Director y Mejor Guión.
